Looking Beyond the Exterior.

What is love? It means so many things to different people yet to some it means everything. It is the breath we gasp as the man we love walks by, the goose bumps upon our skin when he accidentally brushes yours. It's the smile upon your face when you notice he has looked your way. It is a heart about to burst when you can feel the love he has for you. Love isn't about possessions or what another person can buy you. It's about how they make your heart feel, the feeling you have all day waiting and yearning for them to come home. To know that you will sleep safely within their arms, and wake up looking into their loving eyes. Love is not about what you see on the outside yet it is the inner soul that yearns to find its match. The match that fits perfectly, and that will bind two hearts into one forever. Love is knowing how the other one feels without them saying a word. Love is a treasure, and as breakable as glass.

Love is something that we all search for our entire lives while we let it slip away as easily as we find it because we don't continue to nurture and continue to make it grow. Once you find love, you cannot think that it will always be there, always be as strong as it once was or expect that if you don't spend time working on it, that it will not end. Love is like a rose, if you nurture, feed it, and allow it to grow, it's beauty will forever bloom. If you find love, treasure it, enjoy it, look beyond the person in front of you to see the person that is within because for what you see on the outside probably still will never compare to the beauty that is within that person.
