The day has came to an end
bringing loneliness
along with the darkness
of night.
Dreaming of a life
filled with love
being picked up and carried
off to bed.
Wandering where she went wrong
in giving her love away,
maybe they were right
she loved too much.
Taking their love to heart
believing every word
realizing that is what they were,
just simple words...
Is giving your heart and soul
to a man so wrong?
Are we not supposed to believe
in the one we love?
They want our hearts completely
yet walk away when gotten,
Is love just a game
or life's cruel fate?
